Trust Technique Consultations
"My horse is 27 years old. I have had him for 19 years since he was 8. For all that time, he has always struggled with separation anxiety, when anything changes about his herd or even if he thinks it might change.
Working with Audrey and the Trust Technique has really helped him to manage his emotions but also it has really helped us develop our bond. It was strong enough after all those years together but now I feel we have a different level of trust and understanding. He comes to me for reassurance and sees me as a safe, calm place to be. Most importantly, he is not as easily upset these days and when he does get worried his reaction is not as severe. He also gets over it more quickly.
Learning to use the Trust Technique was simple and really enjoyable and we both love practicing regularly, I can’t thank Audrey enough for helping us with this fantastic work, it has been life changing."

"I have had two Trust Technique sessions with Audrey. They were amazing.
Audrey explained how to be in the present moment really well. It's not an easy thing to do - we all live such busy lives nowadays. It's quite difficult to let your mind rest and just concentrate on the now. But when you master this, the response you see in your equine partner is so rewarding. You see them relax completely. Their head starts to drop, their eyes start to close.
I had my first session with Audrey and then spent several weeks practising it. Not every day. Maybe twice a week for 10 minutes or so each time. The second session was really beneficial. I gained valuable tips on how to improve my sessions with my horse.
I am looking forward to follow up sessions in the future.“

"Audrey came to visit my horse Badger and me in August and we got on really well straight away. She demonstrated how to enter the Present Moment and use the Mindful Regard with Badger and he responded very well to that and became extremely relaxed. Afterwards, Audrey taught me how to do it myself and Badger also responded to that, even though I wasn't holding his lead rope. He stayed behind me and when I entered the Present Moment a few times, he got really relaxed.
Audrey explained very clearly when to enter the Present Moment and when to get out of it using Mindful Regard to tell Badger that it is okay to express some unpeace (like little movements, head turning etc.). I could really see that within minutes, Badger was very relaxed and peaceful. Since Audrey showed me this technique, I’ve been using it about 2-3 times per week. I can see that Badger is more relaxed in the stable and just in general very attached to me. I’m looking forward to seeing more benefits this will bring to Badger and our relationship!"
